Eirini was born in Greece, at various time in her adult life she has lived and worked in Greece, Italy and Germany. Currently lives in Leeds, UK where she is a lecturer at the School of Design, University of Leeds, heading the area of drawing and printmaking. A postgraduate of Camberwell College of Arts, UAL London and the School of Fine Art, History of Art & Cultural studies, University of Leeds. Her practice focuses on graphic strategies that reread, reanimate, quote, remix, mash-up and morph a multiplicity of styles, historical movements and precepts of mark-making. Her main research interests are drawing, the practice of tracing, ideas of authorship and semiotics.
